2 Weeks Prior To The Move

Contact your financial institution about transferring your account. Back up all your computer information to disk. Make final packing decisions, by now you should have a clear idea of what stays and what goes. Tape and seal all non toxic cleaning solutions to prevent leakage. Drain all power tools of gas and oil, have your car serviced if you plan to travel by car

 

1 Week Prior To The Move

Prepare the items you will need while in transit, pack a suitcase with a couple changes of clothes and some toiletries. Make sure that the insurance company knows your new address and phone number.
